Frequently Asked Questions

What Makes a Car Eligible for a Specific Class in Gran Turismo?

Classification in Gran Turismo, like in real-life racing, looks at a car’s performance. This includes its changes and how well it follows rules. Things such as power, weight, aerodynamics, and the type of drive affect where a Porsche, Audi, or any car belongs in the Gran Turismo classes.

How Does Car Classification Affect Racing Strategy in Gran Turismo?

Car classification plays a big role in racing strategy in Gran Turismo. A Ferrari GT car needs a different plan compared to a BMW designed for touring car racing. It is important to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each type. This knowledge helps with tire management, passing other drivers, and overall race performance.

Can Players Customize Cars Across Different Classes in Gran Turismo?

Customization in Gran Turismo lets players adjust their cars. However, you may not always move a car from one class to another. You can upgrade a Ford to be race-ready or improve your Aston Martin. But to switch to a different racing class, like making a Maserati into a rally car, you might need to make big changes.
